Brunswick Secondary College students represented the North West Metro district in the Hockey Victoria Junior State Championships held in Shepparton and Bendigo during the mid-year holidays.

Playing for the North West Metro Region were

• Dan Phillips (Year 7), goalkeeper for U13s, whose team earned a silver medal.
• Libby Summerfield (Year 8) and Nia Markwick (Year 8) who played in the U15s and whose team place seventh overall and 
• Louis Holmes (Year 11), whose team earned a bronze medal.

These students are all Brunswick Hockey Club players.  They all beat tough competition to earn their places in their respective North West Metro Region Tigers hockey teams and we take this opportunity to congratulate them on their success. Their commitment to their sport is admirable and their success is well deserved!
